What is Streamex?
Streamex fire suppression system uses FK-5-1-12, which is a fluorinated ketone widely accepted, recognized and used by the international fire community as a highly efficient clean fire extinguishing agent.
Also recognised under NFPA 2001: Standard on Clean Agent Fire Extinguishing Systems, Streamex is the natural alternative to SR200 system as it offers similar or better fire extinguishing performance, suitability of class fire and protection of equipment, while having the added benefit that it has zero ozone depletion potential and a global warming potential of just one.
Streamex fire suppression system is internationally certified by UL Listed and FM approved, and locally approved by SGP and Bomba. Streamex system design is also in accordance with NFPA 2001 standards and supported by Jensen Hughes hydraulic calculations.

How does Streamex work?
Streamex fire suppression system is based on a total flooding principle, whereby the protected room is completely flooded with FK-5112 clean agent to suppress the fire at infancy stage by rapidly removing heat and also depriving fire of oxygen. The quantity of FK-5112 required to adequate extinguish the fire is determined by the design concentration based on the room volume and class of fire.
Upon detection of smoke and heat, FK-5112 which is stored in steel cylinders is automatically (or can be manual) discharged into the enclosure within 10 seconds via distribution piping and discharge nozzles. The agent remains effective for up to 10 minutes, and thus prevents any reignition from occurring.
What are the pros and cons of Streamex?
Where can I use?
Computer rooms, power distribution rooms, wind turbine rooms, energy storage power stations, advanced precision instruments, museums, hospitals and etc.
Is it safe?
FK-5112 is safe and non-toxic under a normal design concentration range of less than 10%
